- Pre & Post Care -
Come in with clean, dry skin.
Gently exfoliate before your service. Do not apply lotions, oils, deodorant, fragrances, or other skincare products prior to your service. You cannot use acids on the skin prior to a sugaring service.
Please review our contraindications.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Our After Care Motto: "No Lotions, Potions, or Repetitive Motions."
Keep your skin clean, cool, friction-free, product-free, bacterial and irritation-free for at least 24 hours after your service. When you bathe, keep the water at cooler temperatures and run it cold at the end. If you experience inflammation, apply cold.
We highly recommend you read our After Care page before your service.
If you have any questions or concerns, call us at 206-512-3033.
How Should I Care for my skin after my appointment?
How long does My hair have to be?
The rule of thumb is the hair needs to be pinch-able and pull-able (hair as short as 1/4 of an inch long), so if you can grab it between your thumb and forefinger and tug on it a little bit, then we can remove it with sugar.
If it has been 4-6 weeks since sugaring or waxing and 2 weeks since shaving, you are generally good to come in for a sugaring service. We want long enough hairs so we can throughly remove them and leave you feeling all smooth.
HOW LONG DOES SUGARING LAST?
Regular maintenance of sugaring tends to fit into a 4-6 week time period. During that maintenance period we offer discounted rates which we call VIP services, so it's more affordable for you to get your hair on a schedule.
After your first appointment, there will be a few hairs that emerge from under the skin's surface or were too short to remove and that's why we provide a Fresh Follow- up service!
This is a 15 minute appointment scheduled within 7-10 days of your first service.
Please take advantage of this FREE appointment. The follow up is offered only after your first service. This allows us to see how your skin is responding, make an educated guess on when your next service should be scheduled and pull any little hairs that were too short during the initial appointment.
This service can only be scheduled in the studio or through our Customer Care.
Read our Service Commitment page for our service guarantee.

- PLANNING For YOUR APPOINTMENT -
The services are specific to hair type and the time necessary to finish it will be shown on the booking platform.
As a general rule during your first service choose the option for more time. The therapists will modify the appointment if you needed the shorter of the services. It’s always good to not be rushed.
Dense, thick and or long hair should be chosen for those who can not easily see their skin through their hair. People who were assigned male at birth are more likely to need this service. We also find that certain ethnicities commonly have denser hair. Luckily after a few appointments most peoples hair changes and they will no longer need to book dense, thick and or long hair.
Thin, sparse and or patchy hair should be chosen for those who can easily see their skin through their hair. People who have previously waxed or sugared usually fall into this category along with certain ethnicities who naturally have sparse hair.
There is a basic structure of times required to complete the service and if it's your first time in, you generally need all that time. So endeavor to arrive a little early.
Keep in mind, if an appointment is scheduled without enough time for your service for whatever reason, we will do our best to get your service done or reschedule you with time that is better suited to your hair type.
If you want to know more about the time services take based on your hair type, you are welcome to call us at 206.512.3033
