FOUNDER & OWNER
Camilla has been working in the spa industry since 1996. She moved home to Washington State in 2000 and started working with natural skin care ingredients. This education taught her how to treat her own cystic acne. The transition to esthetics in 2002 was an organic one, allowing her to combine her massage skills and love of holistic skin care. Camilla was named “Top Waxer in Seattle” by Allure magazine in April 2005. Later that same year, she learned the art of Sugaring. Camilla used her years of quick and thorough hair removal services to create Sugar Plum's proprietary speed sugaring techniques.
DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION, STUDIO MANAGER — Roosevelt
April loves being a technician educator. Her favorite moment is when the light bulb goes on, and her students realize they can do this! Before starting with Sugar Plum in the summer of 2013, she had already spent twenty years in the beauty industry, sixteen of whom were as an educator. She was one of the first recognized Master Estheticians in the state of Washington and helped teach the first class accredited for Master Estheticians. What inspires her most about Sugar Plum, is the focus on changing women’s lives and empowering women to make decisions for their futures. In her opinion this is the best company she has ever worked for, exemplifying respect, integrity, and trust. What she enjoys most about sugaring is that it's clean and green. It’s kind to the skin and takes some talent to pull off— literally.
April runs the training classes for our new hires and manages the studio proper at Roosevelt Way. When not at Sugar Plum, she likes to grow things in her garden, create art, and be in the wilderness.
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Justin was drawn to Sugar Plum by its social and environmental mission to transform the spa industry through innovation in business structure, sustainability and vision. What he enjoys most about sugaring is how gentle it is on his skin, leaving no irritation or feelings of harshness. Utilizing his background with various sustainability organizations, Justin supports the business side of making Sugar Plum more sustainable. He has lived in a few areas of the country, growing up in D.C. and Virginia before making Seattle his new home, where nearly all of his free time is spent with his twin daughters.
DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES
Jessica spent a decade helping students fall in love with the beauty industry as the Director of Admissions at Paroba College and prior to that, The Greenwood Academy may it rest in peace--it’s now a bar, woohoo! Licensed since 2006 as a Cosmetologist and Cosmetology Educator at a college that taught Sugaring, she saw first hand the many benefits and how friendly it is to the planet. Jessica was drawn to Sugar Plum by the rave reviews of their employees, many that were graduates of hers. Jessica has always called the PNW her home. She spent many years in the local art scene as the co-founder and performer of a burlesque troupe. She now spends most of her time geeking out with her husband and two small minions. She finds zen in late night lap swimming and her underwater iPod, which has changed her life!

STUDIO MANAGER - Downtown Seattle
Tamia learned how to sugar in 2017 and fell in love, perfecting her craft over the years. Skincare and lashes have benefited from her expertise, but sugaring is where it’s at! Her goal is a gentle and comfortable service, getting to know the client while delivering their results. Tamia takes pride in being the person her team can rely on, keeping everything running smoothly for our busy professionals. When not in the studio, Tamia spends weekends with her family— cooking, playing games, or doing anything outdoors. This summer baby loves the water and wants to be swimming all the time! Living in different parts of the country fostered her appreciation for the people in Seattle and the scenery Washington has to offer. It will forever be her home.
