What is a Brazilian, Egyptian or Latin sugaring service?

Brazilian

A Brazilian sugaring is for individuals with a labia. A specialized hair removal service that removes all or most pubic hair from the Labia, between the cheeks, and everything in between using a natural sugaring paste. This method is a gentler, more sustainable alternative to traditional waxing, leaving the skin smooth and hair-free with less irritation in about 20 min or less.

Egyptian

An Egyptian Sugaring Service for individuals with a scrotum and penis. This specialized hair removal service is designed to remove unwanted hair from the pubic area, scrotum, shaft, and between the cheeks. Clients may choose a fully bare look or leave some hair in a preferred shape or style. This service usually takes about 35 minutes or less..

Latin

A Latin Sugaring inclusive hair removal service is perfect for anyone who wants unwanted hair removed from their pubic area. This service is best for those with dense hair regardless if you have a labia, penis or anything in between. This service can be completed in 35 minutes or less.

The Sugar Plum Process

Cleansing & Preparation – The skin is prepped by removing oils and debris to ensure the sugaring paste adheres properly.

Application of Protective Powder - a cassava root and potato flour is applied generously to the skin.

Application of the Sugar Paste – Unlike waxing, sugaring paste is applied at body temperature, so there’s no risk of burns. The paste is applied against the direction of hair growth. For best results, hair should be at least 1/4 inch long (about the length of a grain of rice).

Gentle Removal – The sugar is then flicked off in the direction of hair growth, reducing breakage and minimizing ingrown hairs.

Finishing Touches – After the service, a steamed towel dissolves any powder or sugar residue left behind and calming post-sugaring treatment can be applied to soothe the skin and reduce redness.

No Lotions Potions or Repetitive Motions - Avoiding lotions and friction for 24 hours after sugaring helps prevent irritation, congestion, and ingrown hairs, allowing your skin to heal and stay smooth.

Customized Appointment Times Based on Hair Density

At Sugar Plum, we tailor appointment times for certain services, like full legs and backs, based on hair density, not gender.

If you have denser hair, we allow extra time to ensure thorough sugaring, while sparser hair requires less time. To keep your experience smooth and efficient, we may adjust your appointment duration as needed.

Not sure if your hair is dense or sparse? No worries! Book as "dense" to ensure enough time and the sugarist will modify your appointment accordingly if needed. Your comfort and results are our priority!
