Appointment Policy

Booking Guidelines

  • Appointments must be booked under the account of the service recipient.
  • A payment card must be stored on file for online bookings (will not be charged at booking).
  • Valid ID required for all new guests.
  • All clients must complete the Waiver form before services.

Intimate Services Disclaimer:

  • Please note that due to the personal nature of intimate services, a separate waiver is required specifically for these areas, in addition to our general waiver. This waiver ensures that all clients fully understand the specifics and requirements of the service being provided.

Etiquette Policy

Improper Behavior Policy

  • Raised voices, swearing, physical intimidation, signs of aggression, threats of violence, or libel (written defamation) at a Sugar Plum studio will not be tolerated.          
  • Solicitation for a Sugaring Technician’s time/services outside of Sugar Plum is prohibited.
  • Disrespect to a Sugaring Technician’s time, personhood, or profession is not welcome.
  • Demands on a Sugaring Technician to break Sugar Plum policies are not allowed.
  • Filming or Photography without consent is not allowed. 
  • Any unwanted sexual innuendo, propositions, sexual attention, or suggestive comments and gestures; inappropriate humor about sex or gender-specific traits; sexual slurs or derogatory language directed at a Sugaring Technician’s sexuality, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or gender expression; insults and threats based on sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation or gender expression; and other oral, verbal, written or electronic communications of a sexual nature that an individual communicates is unwanted and unwelcome.

Infractions

  • Infractions of improper behavior or sexual suggestion will result in a warning from management up to or including immediate termination of current and future services with any Sugar Plum staff, events, or facilities, possibly resulting in legal action or prosecution. 
  • If terminated as a client, the client will receive refunds of pre-paid services according to our Return Policy, and personal/financial information will be disconnected from our records.

Fresh Follow up Policy

The Fresh Follow Up is a complimentary appointment that is scheduled within 7-10 days of your first service.

 

The Fresh Follow Up is only offered after your first service with Sugar Plum. This allows us to see how your skin is responding to the sugaring, remove any little hairs that were too short during the initial appointment, and make an educated guess on when your next service should be scheduled.

 

The Fresh Follow Up can only be scheduled in the studio or through our Customer Care (206) 512-3033.

Cancellation and Reschedule Policy

 

Cancellation and Reschedule Policy

  • At least 6 hours notice required for cancellations, reschedules, or changes. 
  • We ask for 24 hours notice for canceling or rescheduling appointments over 2 hours long.

 

No-Show Policy

A "no-show" is defined as giving less than 6 hours' notice to cancel your appointment or not attending a scheduled appointment.

No fees are charged for late cancellations or no-shows. However:

  • After 2 no-shows within a rolling year, you may be required to pay a 35% deposit for future appointments. If you late cancel or no-show after paying a deposit, the deposit will be forfeited.
  • After 4 no-shows within a rolling year, we will no longer be able to offer you services.

Running Late

  • If you're late, we'll try to accommodate you, but full service may not be guaranteed. Call Customer Care at (206) 512-3033 if delayed.

Payment Policy

Payments

  • All Sugar Plum studios are cashless; we only accept credit card payments, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and most tap to pay options. 

Booking Online:

  • A valid credit card is required to hold your appointment.
  • No charges occur until your service is complete, with exception to policy violation appointment deposits. 
  • Your information is always secure with us.

Booking by Phone:

  • A valid credit card is needed to secure your time slot.
  • Charges will occur only after your service, with exception to policy violation appointment deposits.
  • Your information is always secure with us.

Checking Out Without a Card:

  • You will receive a payment link and a call from Customer Care within 24 hours to process payment.
  • 3 occurrences of late payment (24 hours or less) will result in a requirement of prepayment prior to receiving services. 
  • Future appointments cannot be booked until payment is received.
  • If you have a card on file, it will be charged for the unpaid appointment.

SMS Text Policy

SMS Texting For Appointment Updates

  • Sugar Plum uses SMS text messaging to inform clients of unexpected changes to booked services or appointments.
  • Clients who opt-out of SMS will not receive notifications about technician changes unless date/time changes occur, in which case Customer Care will call.
  • A good faith effort will be made to contact clients via SMS regarding technician availability changes.
  • Clients who opt-out may learn about technician changes only upon arrival at the studio.
  • Clients are encouraged to opt-in for SMS notifications for timely updates.
  • To update SMS preferences, contact Customer Care at 206-512-3033.
  • Your privacy is important; we do not sell, share, or rent your information.

Under 18 Policy

Under 18 years of age

  • Teenage Sugaring is a safe option for unwanted body hair removal.
  • Please book a 15-minute complimentary consultation for any questions or concerns. Parents and teenagers should discuss with one of our sugaring experts to fully understand the process.
  • ID: Mandatory for all first-time guests.
  • Parent Consent Form: Must be completed and submitted in person by a parent.
    • Parent presence required only for initial signing or updates to the form.
  • No Brazilians, Egyptians, Latins, or Thong Bikini services for underage guests.
